About Ellora Basu Kane
With over 10 years of experience in the sales strategy and operations function, I am a passionate and results-oriented leader who enjoys solving complex business problems and delivering value to customers and stakeholders. I currently lead the analytics and sales operations team for the early stage startup business at Silicon Valley Bank, where I am responsible for creating, implementing, measuring and tracking the GTM strategy for one of the most dynamic and competitive markets in the industry.In my role, I leverage my analytical, strategic, and operational skills to set up and manage a diverse and high-performing team of 17 professionals, including data analysts, process experts, and inside sales reps. I also partner and lead several cross-collaboration initiatives with internal and external stakeholders to boost the efficiency of the relationship management teams and scale the business. Some of the key initiatives I have driven include establishing the first inside sales team at the bank, launching innovative GTM ideas and large scale “client win back” programs. Through these initiatives, I have enabled the bank to increase its market share, revenue, and customer satisfaction in the early stage startup segment. And I love weaving software engineering best practices into the “Science of Selling”- such an amazing combination of creativity and precision!
