Responsible for the design & development of bespoke returnable packaging to support Jaguar Land Rover’s new model and model year programmes- Project managing the provision, validation and testing of prototype returnable packaging to support pre-production build phases and future mass production (SOP)- Project managing the concept & prototype buy-off events for all new and carry over packaging, liaising with key internal & external stakeholders: Manufacturing, Quality, ME Facilities (lift assist), H&S, Ergonomic, Component supplier (+3PL), Product Engineering, Purchasing, Supplier Development and STA to achieve alignment- Troubleshooting packaging issues related to new model/model year launch programmes, implementing containment plans to protect the build whererequired- Working with Tier 1 suppliers, Release & Follow Up and Freight teams to coordinate the return of pre-volume packaging, to meet the demand of the launch programme- Supporting all launch build phase planning, identifying modification/change as required- Liaising with Tier 1 suppliers and packaging manufacturers to manage the delivery timings of all new and modified packaging to support the critical path of the programme- Applying lessons learnt from previous/existing model packaging to ensure continuous improvement.
