I am an enterprise legal leader with 18 years of legal experience advising boards and C-suites across multiple domains of law, including M&A, capital markets, public company/SEC reporting, finance, shareholder activism, and corporate governance. Aggregate transaction value >$500B in >50 countries. My current role leading enterprise-wide legal support for our global M&A and strategy is highly cross-functional, touching enterprise strategy, risk oversight, governance and all business units, and requiring judgment across regulatory, employment/labor, cyber/data, and compliance risks. Previously Cravath in NY, acting GC of a $7B AUM PE firm in NY/Hong Kong and corporate partner at King & Spalding in ATL. My professional philosophy is that the best lawyers craft strategy, drive innovation, and solve business problems that simply happen to have a legal dimension to them, and seek to maximize risk-adjusted returns versus myopically mitigating all risk across the board.
