   EXPERIENCE Since 2006, Elliott Ritter has been a vital part of the team specializing in property insurance claim services for the policyholder. As a director at BDO USA, LLP, he specializes in not only the financial analysis of losses, but also the property, business personal property and business interruption/extra expense portion of claims. He has over 15 years of experience working on projects of various complexities in a variety of different industries from a few hundred thousand dollars to in excess of $350 million. In total, he has assisted in well over $3 billion of Insurance proceed disbursement. Mr. Ritter is responsible for the management, coordination, analysis and preparation of major insurance claims within BDO\'s Insurance Risk & Recovery Group. He has also assisted clients with the setup, implementation and management of national and global insurance programs. He has experience in a spectrum of industries, including steel, textiles, hospitality, real estate, retail, private equity, REIT’s, power generation, Industrial, multi family and manufacturing businesses. Mr. Ritter started his Insurance consulting career in 2006 with Quantum Global Advisors after completing his Degree at The University of Colorado, Boulder. He has since completed the Associate in Claims (AIC) designation and continues toward a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. Mr. Ritter has extensive experience assisting with Builders Risk, Litigation support, Appraisal and Property Extra Expense Insurance claims. He has also assisted in the preparation of revenue loss calculations in hospitality, manufacturing and multi-Family. He has spent the last 15 years of his career developing the skills needed to help navigate the policy holder in the lengthy and complicated process of submitting their Insurance claims. He has a vast network of resources and contacts within the Insurance community and is well respected in his position.
