Examples of experience include- Acting for an UHNW individual in relation to global proceedings brought against a Swiss bank for losses incurred due to mismanagement of his portfolio in Switzerland, which have led to criminal proceedings against the bank’s fund managers- Acting for a number of Cypriot trusts in challenging interim charging orders awarded in the course of enforcement proceedings in relation to a judgment in excess of US$300 million- Advising an investment fund in relation to multi-jurisdictional proceedings to recover losses for breach of contract under a SPA- Acting for a telecoms company in relation to claims arising out of an SPA, including in relation to summary judgment applications and an expert determination- Advised in relation to BVI proceedings concerning an entitlement to US$200 million in a US$1 billion BVI private equity fund, including the successful appeal in both the Eastern Caribbean Court of Appeal and Privy Council.
