ABOUT ELLIOTT DAWSON

I\'ve spent the last year in data policy and ethics management at LBG, where I created new methods of data issue capture, produced Power BI dashboards, documented critical data elements, written and delivered area wide training, share point design and ran Data related information campaigns. On my initial return to Lloyds banking group working as part of the private cloud delivery assurance team building new skills in service improvements whilst developing knowledge of cloud technology on how we can best apply offerings from our 3rd party vendor, leading on QA testing and documentation, whilst ensuring projects had all the information required to work in an Agile way. Whilst working at Howdens supporting Kerridge K809, where I have been exposed to more in-depth tasks such as: Report writing, out of hours major incident support, Team planning/ management, Mentoring and development testing. Moving to a work from home lifestyle has really developed my drive and motivation to stay active in the company community and effectively balance workloads. I was lucky enough to also be given the opportunity to interview and hire an apprentice that I have since gone on to train on the system, securing a permanent role. I took a keen interest in service delivery / management and have sought out training to develop skills in this area. After passing my SAFe5 Certification and completing ITIL training I have also been more involved in Project planning and progression using Azure Devops.During my time at Saint-Gobain I worked in trading systems support mostly supporting Kerridge K809 system issues and configuration. This has involved working closely with a number of different departments from developers to end users. I spent a lot of time laying out and documenting the support for the new Distribution Center and assisted with integrating that with day-to-day support, whilst working with the 1st line service desk to improve their offering. I started my career working on the IT service desk for Lloyd\'s banking group for just over six years. Where I have developed key IT support and customer service skills. I progressed into knowledge management and built up to an SME support role supporting core banking systems and Windows PC / Server, I was then seconded to multiple areas of service delivery to optimize processes and add value. I also completed a secondment in Stockbroking as a reconciliations analyst ensuring the accounts were secure under FCA policy.
