ABOUT ELLIOT MALIN

Elliot graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a BA in Political Science and International Affairs and an MPA with an emphasis on Public Policy. He earned a second masters degree in Strategic Communication from the University of Iowa. Currently he is working towards his Juris Doctor at Syracuse University. Elliot formerly worked as the Deputy Political Director for the Heller for Senate campaign overseeing all of Northern Nevada. In his previous position as the chief in-state policy strategist for a major national nonprofit; he managed an office, wrote strategic plans, crafted policy proposals, organized staff and volunteers, effectively communicated the mission of the organization, managed legislative outreach, and was the head in-state lobbyist. During his time in this position he worked on criminal justice reform, occupational licensing reform, and many other vital policies aiming to make a better life for all Nevadans. He was also previously Partner at Capitol Partners Nevada where he led the firms efforts on energy, municipal policy, and legislative relations. Elliot is currently a small business owner in Reno, Nevada where he manages and operates Alpine Strategies a government affairs, public relations, and communications firm aimed at fulfilling results for clients and Nevadans alike.
