About Elliot Drake
Currently leading GlaxoSmithKline\'s NA initiatives to pilot, embed, and scale Mixed Reality Platforms (Hololens 2), RealWear SmartGlasses, Metaverse for enterprise solutions, Augmented SOP\'s, Guided Workflows, and VR Learning modules within our enterprise Pharmaceutical R&D business. I leverage my experience with technical architecture standards, our Azure cloud capabilities, and a \"Keep it simple as possible\" approach to create internal immersive solutions that are simple and clean.Our teams work directly to impact our global scientific efforts within sterile manufacturing environments, global supply chain, DevOps, international tech transfers, audits, on demand SME expertise, offsite training, remote supervisor validation, laboratory automation, and Pharma/Industry 4.0+ initiatives. By focusing on matrixing and facilitating with our global teams, we solve hard problems with critical thinking, diverse perspective, and empathy to assist in developing groundbreaking pharmaceutical products focused on the preventative treatment of HIV (in addition to many others ).The best part? We\'re just getting started.(The second best part is that I get to look like Iron Man every day )In addition to my professional work, I am also a huge advocate for the usage of Mixed Reality techniques for the education, research, and treatment of Mental/Physical health. I believe this technology has a strong potential usage for training medical health professionals, patient care, exposure therapy, surgery assistance, diagnosis, etc- and would love to collaborate with those who are looking to innovate and scale.Also!
