Like more than most, I fell into recruitment accidentally…I had just returned from a two-year backpacking adventure around Europe and I was in need of a job. I popped into a local high-street recruitment firm to enquire what work they had available, and somehow convinced them into hiring me instead!I joined The ONE Group in December 2018 just one week before our Christmas party (great timing, eh?) having previously worked in an industrial recruitment firm. I swapped recruiting temporary HGV drivers for recruiting specialist roles within the FMCG, food & manufacturing industries and I’ve never looked back.I’ve since developed in my role and now lead a team of fantastic consultants who recruit across the engineering, manufacturing, FMCG & defence industries. Outside of work, I’m still a keen travel enthusiasts and have many bucket-list destinations to tick off.
