About Elliot Granath
I recently (2023) completed my PhD in pure mathematics with a focus on algebraic topology and geometry. I have developed advanced mathematical skills and a strong ability to apply them to complex and abstract problems, both in theory and in practice. As a graduate employee, I gained leadership experience by teaching college-level courses in advanced mathematics. I enjoyed working with diverse groups of students with a broad range of ability and background. I am currently exploring non-academic careers where I can leverage my analytic and communication skills to make a positive impact on the world. I am interested in fields such as data science, consulting, journalism, and education, where I can use my mathematical background and writing experience to create innovative solutions to modern problems. I am eager to learn new skills and challenges, and to collaborate with professionals from different disciplines and backgrounds.
