Elli McDine (she/her) is a strategist, community builder, and storyteller based in Edmonton, Alberta. She currently serves as the Executive Director of the Alberta 2SLGBTQI+ Chamber of Commerce, where she works to grow a thriving, inclusive economy by supporting queer and trans-owned businesses and building networks across sectors, communities, and the province.Elli is also the director and co-creator of Coming Home, a documentary that explores queer and trans joy through the lens of her own gender transition and the stories of those around her. The film has been celebrated for its honesty, warmth, and its invitation to rethink what it means to belong.Her work spans public speaking, documentary storytelling, strategic design, and organizational transformation—always with a focus on equity, inclusion, and care. She has held leadership roles across the nonprofit, public, and post-secondary sectors and brings over a decade of experience in stakeholder engagement, innovation strategy, and research.Elli is passionate about creating space, for dialogue, growth, and for people to show up as their full selves.
