About Elizabeth Ellie Rivera

As the CEO of One Village Community LLC, I am passionate about fostering connections and empowering communities across New York State\'s Southern Tier. Alongside my best friend and husband, Jose—together known as \"Ms. Ellie & Coach Joe\"—we pursue our mission through entrepreneurship, sports, recreation, and crafting. With over two decades of experience in education, I’ve developed a dynamic career teaching everything from College Readiness and Writing to K–12 Drama, Stage Movement, and professional development. Most recently, I managed the Entrepreneurship Assistance Center at SUNY Broome and contributed to campus-wide initiatives as a member of the President’s Taskforce on Diversity and Inclusion. In 2025, I embraced a new chapter as Business Navigator at Amplify Equity, where I help underrepresented entrepreneurs access the tools, resources, and support they need to thrive. My passion for equity and empowerment continues to guide my work, now on a broader scale. Beyond my professional roles, I give back as a NYS Licensed Realtor and remain deeply rooted in service. I’m currently pursuing an EdD in Educational Leadership at Marymount University, building on a Master of Science in Education (Mercy University), a Master of Fine Arts in Directing (Pace University), and a Bachelor’s in Theatre (CUNY Lehman College). Driven by the love and support of my family, I aim to lead by example—uplifting others as we build stronger, more inclusive communities.
