ABOUT ELLIE REID

I am a Blockchain Engineer with over seven years of experience in software engineering, consulting, and partnership development. I have a certification in Ethereum Development Bootcamp from Blockchain Training Alliance and a B.S. degree in Computer Science from James Madison University.My most recent role was at Dispatch, where I leveraged blockchain technology to create a secure, decentralized, and scalable platform for data management and collaboration. I used Ethereum, Solidity, and web3.js to develop smart contracts, front-end interfaces, and backend services for various use cases. I also collaborated with other developers, designers, and project managers to ensure high-quality code, user experience, and project delivery.Before joining Dispatch, I was a.NET/C# developer at CapTech and UDig, where I designed, implemented, and optimized web applications for clients in different industries, such as government, finance, and real estate. I also participated in the early stages of a startup from concept to incubation, where I learned Solidity and developed smart contracts for Ethereum.I am passionate about learning new technologies and platforms, and applying them to solve real-world problems. I am a collaborative and enthusiastic team player who strives to streamline processes and efficiently resolve project issues.
