Public Health Advisor on the Country Support Team in the Global Programming and Extramural Management Branch (GPEMB) for the Division of Global Health Protection (DGHP).Currently serving as Country Support Officer (CSO) for the countries of Bangladesh, Guatemala, and Haiti. Has previously supported China, Colombia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ukraine, and Vietnam.Tasks and key achievements include- Strategic planning, management of budgets, and fielding requests from country teams and implementing partners- Reviewing Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) applications for Liberia, India, and Bangladesh- Received division-level commendations for contributions to a large multi-year NOFO, including leading the logic model drafting and refinement- Completed the Project Officer Certificate Program in 2024; Project Officer for the FHI 360 multi-country cooperative agreement. Managed eight cooperative agreements as CSO for Vietnam and assisted in management of cooperative agreements in both China and Haiti- Deployed to Vietnam August 2023 to provide management and operations support to the US Embassy team in Hanoi. Deliverables included creating a template for partner summaries to start documenting historical knowledge with implementing partners- Facilitating in-person visits to CDC by implementing partners, Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) fellows, China CDC and others invited by the Division- Graduated from the Leadership Development Program PMF track and completed Foreign Affairs Counter-Threat (FACT) training in 2023.
