About Ellie Leja
With a passion for tackling challenges and interest in business, I realized accounting was the ideal career for me to put my passions and work together. This led me to Kelley School of Business where I am a second year student studying Accounting and on track to earn my CPA by May 2028. I am committed to my education and being involved on campus. I am actively participating in organizations like Women in Accounting to help develop leadership and professional skills.From my first job as a babysitter, I learned how to manage time, problem solve, and take responsibility- skills I am eager to transfer to the business world. I have continued to find opportunities to grow and apply these skills. My goal is to apply my business skills in a role where I can express myself and make an impact. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and two dogs. I love to be involved in my community and be around like minded people. You can also find me enjoying a meal with friends or out on a shopping trip. I really love to cook and bake as well!As I continue my academics, I am excited to connect with accounting professionals to learn more about the industry, understand the industry, and explore potential career paths.
