ABOUT ELLIE WHITTINGHAM

I am a highly motivated and driven sustainability professional. As part of the Jet2 sustainability team I support with the delivery of our Sustainability Strategy. I am responsible for implementing the company\'s Social Value Framework by supporting our colleagues and the communities within which we operate. I take a lead role managing our corporate charity partner relationships, working on projects to drive mutual benefits. I also support the integration of ISO 14001 within the business. In addition, I oversee company communications on sustainability. I also support the team with ESG reporting.I am a passionate champion of early careers and emerging talent and always seek out opportunities to advocate apprenticeships. I\'m committed to supporting the development of professionals early in their career through empowerment, confidence building and mentoring. This is also reflected in my role as an ambassador for the Yorkshire and Humber Apprentice Network and an ambassador for OuterCircle.
