ABOUT ELLIE BROWN

I am a dedicated communications professional with expertise in public relations, marketing, digital media, and project management. In my current role as a Senior Communications Consultant at LPL Financial, I serve as a project manager and team liaison, leading the development of strategic, governed content used both internally and by external advisor clients. My work includes content strategy and governance, cross-functional collaboration, copywriting, and optimizing digital content for SEO. I also specialize in the practical application and implementation of AI solutions within large-scale organizations to enhance efficiency and content effectiveness.In addition to my professional career, I am deeply engaged in leadership roles within my community. I serve as President of the Elon Alumni Association, where I plan and execute fundraising initiatives and social events, manage and collaborate with multiple board members, and navigate complex organizational and social dynamics to advance the Elon University’s mission.Additionally, I’m member of the Board of Trustees at Omni Montessori School, where I act as an alumni liaison and serve on the Communications Committee. In this role, I contribute to and vote on key institutional decisions, including those related to finances, staffing, and long-term strategic planning.Having lived in both Charlotte, North Carolina, and London, England, I have traveled extensively I bring a global perspective to my work and leadership approach.
