ABOUT ELLEN WILCOX
Professional geologist with experience in northern Delaware Basin and various Rockies Basins (Williston, Uinta, Piceance, Powder River, Paradox & DJ). I have a strong understanding of the operations and development of an unconventional horizontal play and bring >80% in target geosteering for 2-3 mile laterals with narrow target windows (<10 ft) for wells drilled under my supervision. I have a strong sedimentology background with extensive experience describing clastic slabbed cores, interpreting depositional environment, and tying cores to the well log. I thrive in a multidisciplinary teams and appreciate working closely and learning from Land, Reservoir, Drilling, Completions, and Business Development. I enjoy improving efficiencies and bringing forward high-quality deliverables to the table that drive success. I am highly organized and motivated to learn all aspects of O&G, especially the development and exploration side.
