I served initially as an adjunct faculty member before building the music program to the point where a full-time faculty member was needed. I became full-time in after a nationwide search. I have also served as department chair for Fine and Performing Arts for many years and as program advisor for the music and theatre programs. In addition to teaching music history and appreciation, American Popular Music and choral ensembles, I also provide musical direction for the college musical theatre productions. During my time at BCC, I have also been chapter president of the faculty union, where I have worked with faculty, professional staff, and administrators to uphold contractual obligations while maintaining an atmosphere of cooperation and collegiality.
