ABOUT ELLEN MAKKAS
I am an Instructional Designer at Novant Health where I analyze, design and develop learning strategies to support a remarkable patient experience using a wide range of learning formats, including instructor led, distance and computer based education. I also analyze education needs and develops blended learning solutions for a healthcare audience for the assigned application(s). Additionally, I have been instructing in higher education since 2013 and currently serve as adjunct faculty for the Simulation & Game Development (SGD) program at CPCC. My primary focus of instruction is Game Design, Production Management, Serious Games, and Virtual Environments.
