Lead daily and enterprise editorial operations for GBH News, overseeing a diverse team of editors, reporters, producers and audience engagement specialists to align their editorial plans with our mission and growth strategies and determine the best platforms through which to distribute our work.• Set and implement newsroom and company-wide editorial and audience strategy, working closely with executive leadership to expand our existing audiences to those who are younger and more diverse, building and scaling our platforms, shows and teams to be more efficient, collaborative and inclusive.• Harness the power of our data analytics and audience engagement teams, testing and measuring key growth metrics (users, subscribers, listeners) and aligning our work accordingly.• Collaborate with internal stakeholders — including marketing and communications, creative and design, station relations, and development — to develop short- and long-term integrated campaigns to ensure constant flow of information and seamless integration of systems.• Identify, develop and manage strategic partnerships with other media outlets and community organizations to grow our audience and expand our mission, including projects with The Bay State Banner, El Planeta, Telemundo, NBC10, MassLive, and The Boston Globe.• Establish best practices and implementation for inclusive storytelling and universal design, working with editorial and product teams to ensure that our journalism is produced in a manner that is web- and search-optimized and accessible to the widest audience possible.• Model and uphold our newsroom’s commitment to DEIA, including the creation and oversight of our five staff working groups and collaboration with our CEO and Chief Equity Officer through membership in our company-wide IDEA Council.
