ABOUT ELLEN WILKINSON

I am a senior Family Law solicitor who specialises in children law and financial arrangements following relationship breakdown. The Legal 500 describes me as \"one to watch, with notable expertise in children disputes and national fertility law work. she is showing great promise in her ability to analyse cases and give clear advice to clients.\"I maintain a deliberately diverse practice to ensure clients can benefit from my advice and expertise on a range of issues they and their families may face. I am committed to understanding each individual client and work hard to use my knowledge and personality to help get them where they want to be.My children work frequently involves complex issues such as serious allegations of domestic abuse, internal and international relocation applications and disputes between parents on medical, cultural and religious issues. I am regularly instructed in international child abduction cases in the High Court, and have a developing surrogacy and fertility practice.A significant element of my divorce and matrimonial finance cases are those involving non-matrimonial assets, pre and post-nuptial agreements, non-disclosure and/or international assets.Whilst I have significant experience of both litigation and negotiation, I strive to minimise conflict and to support clients in reaching an agreement where possible.I sit on Resolution\'s Wellbeing Committee and am immediate past Co-Chair of the National YRes Committee. In 2022 I was shortlisted for Resolution\'s Rising Star Award.Outside of family law, I am an active and experienced campaigner for the Labour Party. I also play the cello, saxophone and sing (though not all at once!)
