ABOUT ELLEN TRACHMAN
Seeing friends and family struggle with frustrating and heartbreaking obstacles on the way to becoming parents inspired me to explore and ultimately switch from corporate law to assisted reproductive technology (ART) law. This is when my purpose came into focus.Working with hopeful parents-to-be, as well as the selfless individuals looking to make a life-changing difference in the world as a donor or surrogate, is a unique opportunity to play a small but important role in helping others achieve the wonders of parenthood. No two circumstances are the same and it is often a long and emotional journey, yet there are few processes more special and exciting than helping to create a family.Having begun my career in the investment management division of an international law firm, I acquired years of insightful experience in the optimal structuring and brokering of partnerships. This experience is invaluable when working with intended parents and surrogates in the creation of a very personal type of partnership – building a family. It is a privilege to be able to provide dedicated and compassionate legal representation to those wishing to build a family through assisted reproductive technology and those wishing to help others through donation and surrogacy.
