   Accounting manager responsibilities include Waste-to-Energy and Landfill lines of business. Manage team of five senior and staff accountants. Continue to develop tools and analyses to improve decision making at the operations level and review at the accounting level. Streamline processes through automation where possible. Additional responsibilities include leading monthly P&L review meetings, onboarding and training new employees in accounting department, overseeing plant physical spare parts inventory counts and monthly reconciliations, managing quarterly FERC (Federal Energy Regulatory Commission) EQR (Electronic Quarterly Reports) filing process, assisting with annual and quarterly financial audit including financial statement and footnote disclosure preparation, collaborating cross-functionally with Operations, Procurement, Energy, Engineering, Accounts Payable, Billing and IT, and participating in Women’s Employee Resource Group.
