About Ellen Amico
I have my Master of Science in Nutrition, Healthspan, and Longevity with a B.S. in Psychobiology from UCLA, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude. I worked as a diet technician at a treatment center during my senior year, which solidified my interest in helping others as a dietitian. Since then, I’ve gained hands-on experience in clinical, outpatient, and sports nutrition, including supporting Major League Soccer athletes as a sports nutrition intern at LA Galaxy. Across these roles, I’ve strengthened key skills in problem solving, customer service, and time management, while thriving in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. Whether collaborating with patients, athletes, or healthcare professionals, I bring adaptability, empathy, and a solutions-focused mindset to every interaction. I’m passionate about helping individuals build a positive, sustainable relationship with food and their bodies—rooted in Intuitive Eating, body trust, and a rejection of diet culture. As a certified yoga instructor, I also integrate mindfulness and movement into my approach to wellness.
