   Launched JDT\'s Art Department in 2008. Since starting department I have worked solo creating the JDT graphics for textiles and marketing materials.I have created over patterns. Designs are printed digitally or screened and or woven in many fabric constructions for fashion and hospitality industry. My design skills include print ready artwork with color separations, patterns in repeat, color matching, color development, fabricator spec sheet, tech packs for product development, and fabric collections.Working in AVA Textile Cad Software as well as Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.I have over 15 years experience as a textile artist creating patterns for a multitude of applications including, soft goods, bedding collections, draperies, shower curtains, pillows,bed throws, bed scarfs, bolsters,carpeting,restaurant booth designs, upholstery, and headboards.I work directly with customers on design from concept to completion. My design abilities encompass all styles of fabric design including, toile, paisley, hand painted,hawaiian, floral, traditional, contemporary, geometric, damask, stripes, novelty, ikat, tribal, botanical, chevron, and animal prints. Highly skilled and a diverse range of styles and art techniques to achieve ever changing industry trends and demanding production times.Work with suppliers and mills providing fully edited art for woven and strike off requests.Follow up with customer work and open line development.I create high quality original print concept design and CAD artwork inline with trends and customer requests in fast paced environment.Additional duties include working directly with sales manager to create marketing materialsfor advertisements and email blasts. Other responsibilities includecreating textile collections for hospitality market, industry shows, displays, staging products for photo shoots and shooting the photos for ads and media needs.
