Hello everyone!My name is Elle, and I’m a forward deployed engineer (FDE) specializing in custom software solutions within the biotech space. My technical skillset includes bioinformatics, AI/ML engineering, agentic workflows, data solutions and analysis, project management, client communication, project planning and presentation, modeling of complex systems, and operating in regulated environments (GAMP5 and GxP).I completed my Master’s degree at UC Berkeley in ML/AI Engineering and software engineering for molecular science after teaching myself programming and falling in love with its creative, problem-solving nature. Prior to that, I worked in clinical and medical research, analytical chemistry, and surgical/medical laboratory sciences. This interest in biomedical sciences was inspired by my BSc at The University of British Columbia, where I specialized in chemistry and life sciences.My professional goal is to engineer the most innovative solutions in biotech to help patients access the best therapeutics as quickly and safely as possible.
