ABOUT ELLA SHERMAN

British by birth, American by choice. After moving to the US in late 90\'s, I discovered a passion for technology and software solutions that help educators do what they do—but even better. My journey started in the dot.com era, when I delivered live and online video content for training and continuing education. It was then known as \"webcasting.\" A funny memory I have of those days is that so many people would say,\"I can\'t hear,\" and my response would be,\"Did you turn on your speakers? Does your computer have a video card?\" Looking back at those times makes me laugh. It\'s amazing how far technology has come. My most recent rewarding adventure took place at Nearpod. Nearpod\'s ability to change the learning experience in the classroom, from textbook to fully interactive mobile use, truly allowed me to hone my skills as a sales leader. I led the sales team there from 1 person (me) to a full time sales staff and the company’s first millions in revenue during my 6 years there. I now embrace my current opportunity as Business Development Director at Dyknow. Classroom Management software built for teachers. On a mission to help teachers defeat the distractions caused by student devices. Dyknow is the best solution to keep students focused and engaged. Dyknow helps teachers feel more comfortable using technology in their classrooms.
