Hi, I’m Ella, a Chicago-based designer. I trust my instincts, follow my curiosity, and have built a practice rooted in experimentation. Currently, I am finishing my last year at design school where I have developed a strong skill set in brand design, strategy, and art direction, grounded in a formal understanding of color, typography, composition, and form. But what drives me to design is something far less tangible.I’m drawn to the emotional side of creativity. It\'s the storytelling, subjectivity, and irrational ways that people connect with art, making good ideas unforgettable. Not everything that matters can be measured. Often, it’s the humor and nuance that instinctively resonate on a human level. That’s what I strive to create and that is why I love creating.
