About Ella Stroup
I am a Senior at Chapman University studying Community Educational studies with a double minor in Disability studies and Leadership. Bringing to the table a large body of experience working with individuals with disabilities, I am passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. I bring a strong background in nonprofit leadership and disability services and currently intern at Glennwood Housing Foundation, an independent living community for adults with disabilities. I hope to continue to empower those around me through leadership opportunities in Orange County. Outside of school and work I enjoy the outdoors, reading, and sports.

Developed a partnership with California State Parks to launch “Coastal Crew,” an inclusive outdoor recreation program promoting accessibility in state parks. I expanded a resident-led volunteer initiative by increasing participation through weekly service projects and sensory-friendly community events with adaptive equipment. I also supported organizational development through administrative work, event planning, individualized resident programming, and further sustaining inclusive recreation opportunities.
