About Ella Santoro
Rising Senior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison pursuing a degree in Computer Science and certificates in Mathematics and Data Science. Although I find interest in many different aspects of tech, I hold a particular passion for object oriented programming, web-based 3D graphics, and building user interfaces. Beyond Computer Science, my interests are most-often rooted in creativity. I find inspiration in all kinds of creative avenues like painting, experimenting with recipes, or creating vector graphics and games. Manage technological issues, including printer and software & hardware issues for staff at MCPS• Manage data migration from a Student Information System (SIS) to the GivePulse volunteering platform through conducting comprehensive testing, converting raw student data to CSV import format, and preparing student records for migration using excel formulas• Integrate account and event linking between the Wisconsin Involvement Network (WIN) website and GivePulse using API key authentication to expand volunteer engagement across UW-Madison• Provide administrative support through creating spreadsheets, managing the Morgridge Center email, routing mail, and supporting students affiliated with MCPS via phone, email, or in-person • Serve on four hiring committees for General and IT Operations Intern positions, which included preparing job descriptions, creating interview and application questions, reviewing applicant materials, and conducting interviews.
