ABOUT ELLA PURDY
Proud to be a part of the philanthropic efforts of Wofford College and its amazing community of alumni spread across the globe. I graduated in May 2022 with a BA in Sociology & Anthropology and Spanish.Born and raised in Charlotte, NC, completed high school in Lexington, VA, and spent time living in Nicaragua volunteering with an education-based nonprofit in my gap year before attending Wofford College. Noted Projects:*Senior Capstone - Research Collaboration with Spartanburg City Planning to examine elementary-level access and visibility in the community.*Hub-City Farmers Market\'s research focused on expanding accessibility to all citizens.*Launch Scholar & Leadership Committee Member - helped lead student teams in the Innovation & Entrepreneurship program at Wofford College*\"Project Connection\"- Founded a nonprofit as a high school Junior, a mentor program for students with special needs
