ABOUT ELLA ONEILL
I am a PhD researcher exploring the impacts of urban planning directives, particularly in relation to greening, on health (in)equity at the intersection of geography, urban planning and public health. My research features case studies in England, Scotland and the Netherlands, using an explicit environmental justice lens. I have a background in anthropology and ecological economics, experience with a range of methods including ethnographic film and documentary making, with 7+ years of experience in academic research, local government and non-profit organisations.
