About Ella Dalgliesh

Current senior and Dean’s List student at Lafayette College with international NGO experience and four years working in a variety of refugee resettlement roles. Brings relevant skills in international conference planning, as well as casework, intake and needs assessment interviews (with interpreters), and direct delivery of programs and services for refugee communities. Known for dedication, attention to detail, empathy, and organizational skills, I’ve had a number of leadership and people management roles. With an excellent academic record, a full year as a faculty research assistant, and a demonstrated commitment to social justice, I enthusiastically seek an entry-level position in the humanitarian sector. With a preference for policy, program facilitation, strategic partnerships, and fieldwork in refugee resettlement and migration issues, I am enthusiastic about exploring international or domestic opportunities.

   Primary liaison to partner Refugee Resettlement Agency- Oversees resettlement branch of Refugee Action Club, including 6 committees- manages team of 37 student volunteers- manages executive board of 15 student volunteers- Runs bi-weekly general body meetings and weekly executive board meetings.
