I am currently engaged in national and international projects to strengthen public health systems and services. As of 17 June 2017, I work as a full-time consultant for the WHO Regional Office for Europe. My placement is with the Directorate General for Public Health at the Federal Ministry of Health. In this function I support several strengthening processes of the system of public health services (Öffentlicher Gesundheitsdienst, ÖGD) in Germany. Recent work includes consultancy work for authorities in Israel,#WeAreAllUkrainians, and public health authorities in Hamburg and Berlin.
