I have been in the digital media space for 20 years and counting, starting with my first foray as editor in chief of the Internet\'s first bookstore at books.com. From there I was privileged to be the founding editor and then president and ceo of cleveland.com. I took the site from \"back of the napkin\" ideas to what it is today; one of Cleveland\'s leading media companies. After a brief stint as an entrepreneur with Sideways where we focused on app publishing software, I moved on to American Greetings in order to help lead their digital strategy. There, I oversaw a print-on-demand site (cardstore.com) as well as an ecard site with a subscription model (ag.com). In 2015 I became Chief Communications Officer of Cuyahoga County where I am leading the communications strategy for Ohio\'s most populous county.
