ABOUT ELIZA SPELLINS
I’m an aspiring CPA and future audit professional passionate about promoting transparency and integrity in financial reporting. I am currently pursuing a BSBA in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy through the Integrated Master of Accountancy (IMAcc) program at the University of Arkansas’ Sam M. Walton Honors College of Business. I expect to complete both degrees in May 2027. I am particularly interested in audit and assurance services within public accounting, where I can leverage my analytical mindset and attention to detail to help organizations maintain trust and meet regulatory standards. In addition to my core accounting skills, I have a strong appreciation for language and law, which enhances my ability to interpret complex regulations and communicate findings clearly. I am also keenly interested in the evolving role of AI and technology in audit, recognizing how advancements in data analytics and automation can improve audit quality and efficiency. After graduation, I plan to pursue CPA certification and begin my career in public accounting, aiming to integrate traditional accounting expertise with innovative technological solutions to support ethical and effective business practices.
