Experience
National Correspondent
Sep 2023 — Present · San Francisco, CA, US
I am a National Correspondent with USA TODAY, based in San Francisco. In 2024 I conceived, investigated and reported a five-part series on county-level efforts to ban or block new, utility-scale wind and solar plants in all 50 states. My reporting revealed it is now effectively impossible to build new utility-scale renewable power in 15% of U.S. counties. The project won awards from Editor & Publisher and the Society of Environmental Journalists.
