Ever since I was in middle school I dreamed of being an Accountant. There were two things I knew to be true at that time; I loved math and people looked at me funny when they pictured me “crunching numbers all day”. People have disregarded a certain career path because of what people think it to be and as of today, it still makes me laugh. I\'m a first generation college student working with entertainment and cannabis clients on their entity and individual tax returns. I\'m aspiring to hit upper management in public accounting which is definitely not an easy path but being self-motivated and passionate about my work keeps me motivated to push through each busy season.
