About Elizabeth Stephani

As an Energy Innovator Fellow for the U.S. Department of Energy, I conduct interdisciplinary research on emerging energy technologies in Wyoming such as Carbon Capture and Advanced Nuclear Energy, contribute to policymaking and administrative rule making on energy reliability issues, and engage with tribal communities on energy affordability. I have a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Wyoming College of Law, where I graduated first in my class and received a certificate in Transnational Legal Studies from Georgetown University Law Center. I have over two years of experience in litigation, having served as a federal judicial law clerk and a summer law clerk at a leading regional law firm. I have drafted recommendations, orders, and memorandums of law on various legal topics, such as qualified immunity, procedural due process, and employment discrimination. I have also assisted in settlement conferences, employment investigations, and depositions. I am a licensed attorney in Wyoming and the U.S. District Court, District of Colorado.
