My professional experience has covered all facets of project planning and implementation of large-scale, multi-sector initiatives where housing is the key driver of health outcomes. I utilize systems-level thinking to understand and solve complex problems. I’m driven to ensure public policy goals are achievable at the state and local level. Developing and supporting high performing cross-sector teams is a critical aspect of my work. I have managed the planning and development of large and small-scale affordable and public housing projects and have overseen the creation of 3,700 housing units totaling $817 million in total development costs.In addition to housing development, I also have considerable experience with retail revitalization and have brought square feet of viable retail space to neighborhoods underserved by retail for years. My expertise in neighborhood retail markets, particularly in distressed urban areas, is matched with my knowledge of innovative approaches to retail and neighborhood revitalization.
