Detail-oriented nursing professional with decades of clinical and leadership experience. Team-player that applies clinical knowledge and competency, compassion, and maturity to elevate patient care. An engineer (biomedical/life sciences), nurse, educator, and inventor/entrepreneur - I\'ve combined all aspects of 40 years’ experience into designing and developing programs and tools to improve the lives of others. I am a proud military spouse (USAF ret), Blue Star Mother x4 veterans (USNx2, USMC, USAF), mother-in-law to 2 USAF veterans, and grandmother of an active duty Soldier (USA). I started FaithRN Healthcare & Community Advocacy in 2007 to increase awareness of critical health and safety issues, with a focus on vulnerable populations - women, families, and returning veterans. Regardless of individual political affiliation or income bracket, people agree - we need better-coordinated, higher quality, more efficient and available health and human services. I believe any challenge can be successfully overcome by the creative integration of people and processes toward clear and measurable outcomes. Solutions may require going over, under, around or through an obstacle. They may require seeing the challenge in a new light to recognize it as an opportunity to grow in a different direction. The key is to embrace the process and enjoy the journey.
