ABOUT ELIZABETH RIBAO

Elizabeth Ribao is a licensed Enrolled Agent and Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor. She is passionate about US taxation and has been preparing tax returns for 13 years. She is currently employed with The CPA Dude as Lead Tax Advisor. Elizabeth has earned her Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Florida International University, and is currently working on my second Bachelor’s, in Accounting from Western Governors University. In 2017, her work earned her an “Outstanding Growth” award and a “Millennial of the Month” recognition from the United Way of Miami-Dade.After graduating from Florida International University, she gained experience in business, state, and international tax at Mata & Baker Tax Consultants, then assisted clients with tax resolution matters at Garcia, Espinosa, Miyares, Rodriguez, Trueba & Co. LLP, and small business bookkeeping at Downtown Accounting Miami.Elizabeth is committed to community service as she has been a volunteer Guardian Ad Litem for Miami-Dade’s dependency court system since 2015, where she volunteers directly with foster children and advocates for their best interests. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her teenage daughter, listening to audiobooks, sewing, and salsa dancing.
