ABOUT ELIZABETH OKUNBOR
I’m an Honors Computer Science student at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, specializing in Software development, UX/UI design, and marketing. I’m passionate about building digital experiences that are both user-friendly and visually engaging. I’m always looking for new ways to grow my skills and learn more about the tech industry.As a Peer Tutor at UAB’s Vulcan Materials Academic Success Center (VMASC), I help students find tutoring methods that match their learning styles. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel confident, ask questions, and take an active role in their learning.I’m also a Student Ambassador for Adobe and Niche, where I create social media content to share real college experiences and academic advice. I help high school students find the right college through Niche and show how Adobe’s tools can help them express their creativity.On TikTok and Instagram (@eluze.studio), I document my journey as a CS student, tracking my progress in my skills, projects, and career growth while helping others with coding, design, and college life.These experiences have helped me develop strong skills in communication, teamwork, and project planning. I’m excited to apply my skills in a fast-paced environment, bring new ideas to the table, and work with others on meaningful projects.
