ABOUT ELIZABETH MCGLONE
I completed my non-law degree in 2004 and immediately decided to pursue a career in law. I completed the Legal Practice Law and commenced work for the Practical Law Company as an M&A Research Editor. I moved to Taylor Walton to undertake my training contract and was admitted as a solicitor in September 2009. I knew from the outset of my legal training that I wanted to specialise in employment law and have made it my aim to see this through. I am now working as an Employment Solicitor and am relishing seeing my knowledge and experience grow and develop on a daily basis.I advise both employers and employees on the whole remit of employment law. I am regularly asked to assist clients with day to day employment issues such as sickness absence, disciplinary and grievance procedures and other work related issues. I draft contracts of employment, consultancy agreements, employment handbooks and draft and advise upon compromise agreements. I undertake litigious work as well and support my clients from the outset through to full hearing and ensure they get the specialist advice that they need in a cost effective and commercial way.
