I am a marketing, communications and fundraising team manager working for Humanity & Inclusion, an international nonprofit organization leading inclusive humanitarian action in 60 countries. I lead a team of four communications and fundraising professionals in building HI’s brand awareness with a U.S. audience, nurturing loyal and prospective individual donors. My expertise includes content creation, media relations, paid and organic social media, website management, email marketing, digital fundraising and planned giving. I work remotely from Montgomery, Alabama.I previously worked in communications at the Southern Poverty Law Center, amplifying the organization\'s litigation and legislative actions, with a particular focus on criminal justice reform and voting rights. Before that, I spent nearly five years as a newspaper reporter, primarily covering crime and courts, in southwest Florida.I hold a B.S. from Murray State University, where my studies focused on journalism and marketing.Outside of work, I\'m a doting mom to our IVF baby girl, Jordan, spoiled dog, Lennon, and collection of mostly thriving houseplants.#RollTide

I head the organization\'s planned giving efforts.I oversee two departmental budgets (communications and fundraising), working closely with colleagues in the U.S, Lyon, France, and beyond.
