I am Of Counsel in the Labor & Employment practice group, where I focus my practice on representing employers of all sizes in labor and employment matters, including discrimination, retaliation, unfair competition, FMLA, and whistleblowing. In addition to litigation, I frequently provide advice and counsel to employers related to employment agreements, separation agreements, restrictive covenant agreements, managing accommodation requests, and terminations.

ABOUT ELIZABETH TURNER JOZSI

I\'m an attorney at Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart practicing labor & employment law in Tampa, Florida. I represent employers of all sizes in labor and employment matters, including discrimination, retaliation, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and whistleblowing cases. I also provide counsel regarding handbooks, employment policies, employment and separation agreements, and general employment advice. I have extensive experience defending my clients before federal and state courts as well as before administrative agencies.Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, I served as a judicial law clerk for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida where I gained experience working on complex federal cases. Following the clerkship, I joined a small law firm in Lake County, Florida where I represented the largest employer in the county, as well as small businesses, on a variety of employment matters. I also gained public sector experience as co-counsel for the Lake County School Board for four years. I also have federal agency experience, working at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of General Counsel’s office as a summer law clerk during law school.I\'m admitted to practice in all Florida courts as well as the U.S. District Court, for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida. I earned my Bachelor’s degree at Duke University, and graduated cum laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While in law school, I was an executive editor of the Journal of Law and Public Policy, was a member of the Environmental Moot Court Team, and studied abroad in Costa Rica.
