1. Director, Head of Design for Metaverse & Vr

   I lead a global team of over 300 product designers, prototypers, and program managers driving the Meta Quest (formerly Oculus) VR product line and the Horizon metaverse platform. My focus is on transforming VR from a gaming device into the next major computing platform for the metaverse.I oversee the design and evolution of Horizon OS. A spatial operating system built on Android and optimized for mixed reality and immersive 3D experiences. My work spans the entire Horizon ecosystem: the Horizon Store (a cross-platform metaverse commerce experience), Horizon Worlds (a large-scale, open social platform), developer and creator tools (including SDKs and gen-AI-powered workflows), Horizon Mobile apps for iOS and Android, and the Meta Avatars system used by over a billion people across Horizon, Facebook, and Instagram.I also collaborate closely with Reality Labs R&D to shape the future of distributed work through mixed reality proof-of-concept experiences.
