My name is Elizabeth Janasiewicz, and I am a third-year student at the University of Maryland, double majoring in Finance, and Operations Management & Business Analytics. In addition to my studies, I am getting involved in the Women in Business Association. I also got involved in Greek life and joined a chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta, shortly becoming the Chief Financial Officer. Balancing school and extracurricular activities will provide me with further opportunities to improve my skills, including time management, leadership, and strategic thinking, skills that will be valuable to an employer. Building on my skill sets, I plan to pursue a career in Finance, analyzing investment strategies and risk management based on the data collected to determine if the stock is profitable in the future.
