ABOUT ELIZABETH BORCHARDT

I am currently a senior at Indiana University studying Law, Ethics & Decision-Making, as well as Mangement within the Kelley School of Business. Throughout my life I have always been interested in economics and sociology, which sparked my interest in studying law. I was drawn to management because I felt it could make me a more well-rounded lawyer as I could better understand how to bring the best out of people. During my time at IU, I have been involved in a variety of activities including, the Kelley Academic Fairness committee in which I review cases related to academic dishonesty and collaborate with other committee members to analyze feedback from hearings to improve the process. Additionally, last summer I worked at the Illinois Junior Golf Association as a Tournament Coordinator Intern where I helped manage and oversee many different aspects of youth golf tournaments. These experiences have strengthened both my ability to effectively communicate with clients and developed a strong attention to detail. Looking to the future, I am excited to take these skills and apply them as I embark on law school and continue a career in law.
